Responsibilities

As a Social Care Worker, you will:

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care where required.
  • Support people to access education, employment, leisure activities, and their local community.
  • Promote independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with the people you support.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning.
  • Work closely with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to a safe environment.

We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Caring, compassionate, and respectful.
  • Reliable, honest, and committed.
  • Positive team players with good communication skills.
  • Passionate about supporting vulnerable people.
  • Willing to learn and undertake training.

Requirements

  • A genuine desire to work in health and social care.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where required.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of those we support.
  • Previous experience in care or support work.
  • Health and Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Full UK driving licence.
