**3D Animated Feature Film | nWave | Brussels, Belgium**

About the Project :

We are looking for Storyboard Artists to join the pre-production team of an upcoming 3D animated feature film at nWave.

Working closely with the Directors and Storyboard Supervisors, you will help translate the screenplay into clear, expressive and engaging sequences.

Responsibilities :

* Translate the screenplay into strong visual storytelling, staging and character acting.
* Develop sequences with a strong sense of **comedy, emotion, rhythm and cinematic language**.
* Propose creative solutions to strengthen scenes and solve storytelling challenges.
* Work closely with the Directors, Storyboard Supervisor and other pre-production departments.
* Incorporate feedback and revise sequences throughout the storyboard process.

Requirements :

* Previous experience in animation storyboarding, ideally on CG feature films.
* Strong foundations in **emotional storytelling and comedy**.
* Good understanding of staging, composition, camera language, pacing and character acting.
* Ability to clearly communicate a story through images.
* Creative, collaborative and able to work independently.
* Portfolio demonstrating strong visual storytelling and character performance.

 
Practical Information :

* **Location:** Brussels, Belgium.
* **Start:** During October 2026.
* **Duration:** 2 to 6 months, depending on the profile and availability.

* **Work setup:** We are looking for someone willing to work **on-site in Brussels**, or able to come to Brussels regularly if working remotely.
