Position Summary
The Machine Operator 1 (CNC) is responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment to machine aluminum extrusions for Coral Architectural Products. This role ensures products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality and customer specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machinery to cut, drill, notch, and machine aluminum extrusions.
  • Review work orders and drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Measure and inspect finished products to verify quality standards are met.
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Inspect materials for defects and address issues as needed.
  • Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts and support other production functions as required.
Qualifications
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to read work orders, drawings, and measurements.
  • Strong math skills, including fractions and decimals.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work around manufacturing equipment in varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Visual ability to read work orders, inspect products, and operate equipment safely.
