Responsibilities
~2 min readIf you're analytically minded, naturally curious about how products win (or lose) in the market, and energized by turning complex data into clear recommendations, this one's for you.
- →Conduct ongoing portfolio analysis to identify performance gaps & recommend tactical adjustments that sharpen our competitive edge
- →Build in-depth competitive analyses comparing features & benefits, technical performance, value propositions, go-to-market approaches, and service levels across key competitors
- →Track market trends within the architectural & door hardware segment to surface opportunities before the competition does
- →Gather customer product & business insights in a structured, repeatable way, translating voice-of-customer into actionable inputs for roadmap planning & the Product Development Process (PDP)
- →Partner closely with the Product Manager to ensure insights are documented, prioritized & applied
- →Own the SKU addition & discontinuation process end-to-end, coordinating across all cross-functional stakeholders to ensure flawless execution across ERP, eCommerce & PIM systems
- →Keep every relevant team informed, aligned & accountable throughout portfolio movements
- →Support the Product Manager in drafting New Product Development Requests that fuel category growth
- →Contribute structured analysis & documentation that moves new initiatives through the PDP efficiently
- 3+ years of professional experience in business analytics, customer insight, or product support; building materials industry experience is a strong plus
- A structured, data-driven mindset with proven project management skills
- Strong cross-functional influencing ability; you know how to get alignment without direct authority
- High integrity, a results-driven work ethic, & the kind of follow-through that earns trust across teams
- Comfort working with ERP, eCommerce, and PIM platforms is a bonus
