For more than 40 years, Pool Pros Mgmt has been a trusted leader in commercial swimming pool, spa, water feature, and aquatic facility management throughout Florida. We are seeking dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused professionals to join our team.

 

Position Summary

 

The Commercial Pool Service Professional performs routine maintenance, water chemistry management, equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and related services for commercial aquatic facilities. This position works independently in the field while being supported by a team of experienced aquatic professionals.

Because this position directly impacts public health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance, it is considered a safety-sensitive position.

 

Essential Functions


  • Maintain commercial pools, spas, and water features.
  • Test, record, and adjust water chemistry.
  • Safely handle and apply pool treatment chemicals.
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain aquatic equipment and systems.
  • Identify and report safety concerns, compliance issues, and repair needs.
  • Complete required electronic reports, photographs, and documentation.
  • Safely operate company vehicles, tools, equipment, and mobile devices.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.

Qualifications


  • Valid driver's license and ability to satisfy company vehicle insurance requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English sufficient to safely perform assigned duties and complete required documentation.
  • Commercial pool, maintenance, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, facilities, or related experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred. Candidates not currently certified must be willing and able to obtain certification within a timeframe established by the Company following employment.

Essential Physical & Environmental Requirements

The requirements described below are considered essential functions of this position. Candidates must be able to work outdoors year-round in Florida conditions, including prolonged exposure to heat, humidity, sunlight, rain, and changing weather conditions; safely work around pools, spas, chemicals, electrical equipment, and mechanical systems; repeatedly enter and exit vehicles; walk, stand, bend, climb, kneel, and work on uneven surfaces; wear required personal protective equipment; accurately interpret testing results, equipment indicators, warning labels, and safety information; and safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move equipment, tools, supplies, and chemical containers weighing up to 100 pounds, individually or with assistance when appropriate.

Additional Requirements

Work schedules may vary based on operational needs and may include weekends, holidays, overtime, emergency response, on-call assignments, and adjusted schedules.

Employment may be contingent upon lawful pre-employment screening, including employment eligibility verification, motor vehicle record review, background screening, drug testing where permitted by law, and verification of licenses, certifications, education, and work history.

Employees must maintain all licenses, certifications, training requirements, and driving qualifications required by the Company for continued employment.
