At Optro, we inspire each other to innovate and are proud of what we are producing. We spend each day thinking of new ways to help our customers and contribute to the greater good of our company and our surrounding communities. We are all about assisting each other and breaking through barriers to create the most loved audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform by our customers. This is how we have become one of the 500 fastest-growing tech companies in North America for the seventh year in a row, as ranked by Deloitte!

As a member of the People Business Partner team, you’ll have the opportunity to partner with leaders, managers, and employees in our Customer Advisory Services, Finance, and Legal organizations to align our people strategy with our business strategy. In this role, you will act as a resource and advisor to employees, fostering trust through the application of clear HR processes, developing leadership capability, and offering coaching and support through all phases of the employee lifecycle. You will partner across the broader People team and with internal stakeholders to guide activities including performance and talent reviews, compensation planning, performance management, career development, leadership coaching, organizational design, headcount planning, and employee relations to support a growing and dynamic organization.

This is an ideal role for someone who is excited about driving high-performing teams and contributing at both hands-on and strategic levels, fostering an inclusive and engaging culture where all employees are empowered to do their best work. A successful candidate:

  • Demonstrates a deep customer obsession, earning the role of a trusted, reliable partner for the leaders and employees of their client organizations.

  • Has a proven ability to coach, partner with, and influence senior leadership, including stakeholders with varying needs.

  • Embraces collaboration and believes that the best work is done when we win together - communicates often with peers, socializes work with key stakeholders, and manages change with empathy.

  • Values constant innovation - is resourceful, execution-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, all while handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Is excited by the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and balance strategy with execution.

  • 8+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years as a People Business Partner supporting senior leadership in fast-paced, scaling organizations.

  • Deep HR expertise with a strong working knowledge of state and federal employment laws and best practices.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex, ambiguous situations into simple, clear, and actionable strategies.

  • Data-driven mindset, with experience leveraging people metrics and insights to design and execute impactful talent strategies that align with business goals.
