Our team of trusted midwives, OBGYNs, and dedicated care navigators ensure our patients get the type of care they need in the moments that matter most.

Since launching in 2021, we’ve expanded to include Preconception and Miscarriage Care, Pregnancy Care, Postpartum Support, and Gynecology. We currently have 4 clinics in the tri-state area, with three new clinics opening in 2026! Oula is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to lead the daily execution and long-term growth of our new Charlotte maternity clinic. This is a frontline leadership role for a hands-on operator who thrives on full operational ownership. You will be the primary steward of the clinic’s success, navigating the complexities of a fast-growing practice with high autonomy. From coaching your team through sensitive patient interactions to optimizing workflows, you ensure the clinic runs like a well-oiled machine.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Charlotte clinic. Diagnose operational challenges and implement solutions independently, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • Process Architecture: Build, refine, and scale clinic workflows (e.g., patient check-in, inventory management, team file organization) to meet the needs of a growing practice.
  • Scheduling Ownership: Manage clinician schedules, on-call rotations, and monthly calendars, understanding that precision in scheduling directly impacts provider morale and patient safety.
  • Facility & Compliance: Maintain a safe, welcoming, and high-functioning clinic environment. Oversee vendor relationships and ensure all local and state healthcare regulations and licensing requirements are met.
  • Frontline Management: Hire, onboard, and manage a dedicated team of clinic staff, modeling professionalism, empathy, and accountability.
  • Developing Talent: Coach teammates in real time on service excellence and workplace norms, fostering a culture of continuous growth.
  • Interpersonal Bridge: Serve as the connective link between midwives, OBs, and care navigators, ensuring the collaborative care model is consistently delivered.
  • Service Excellence: Bring a hospitality-driven approach to patient interactions, ensuring requests are handled promptly and with care.
  • External Liaison: Manage communication with partnering hospitals in the Charlotte area to align care between providers and patients.
  • High Agency: You proactively identify opportunities and solve problems without waiting for instructions.
  • EQ + Analytical Rigor: You navigate sensitive team dynamics while leveraging data to track and improve clinic KPIs.
  • Resilient & Adaptive: You thrive in a dynamic environment and embrace the “beautiful chaos” of a growing clinic.
  • Player-Coach: You lead from the front, ready to jump in wherever needed to support the team or patients.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Direct People Management: Experience hiring, leading, and motivating a team is essential.
  • 5+ years of Operational Experience: Backgrounds in healthcare, hospitality, or high-service environments are preferred.
  • Clinical Literacy: While OB expertise is not required, prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is strongly preferred.

 

Oula offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, and  comprehensive benefits. Exact compensation inclusive of salary and any bonuses is determined based on a number of factors including experience and skill level, location, and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process. Salary Range
$75,000$85,000 USD
