Our Automated Sensor Operator (ASO) software powers our line of Smart Sensors and integrates with airborne video gimbal platforms to deliver Superhuman Vision and Workload Reduction for real-time imagery intelligence systems.

Founded in 2016 in Hood River, Oregon, Overwatch supports commercial and government customers worldwide across missions including wildfire mapping, disaster response, law enforcement, border security, maritime domain awareness, and tactical intelligence.



About this Role:

Overwatch Imaging is seeking a Director of Strategic Growth to work closely with the CEO and leadership team to accelerate company growth through strategic partnerships, market expansion, and corporate growth initiatives.

This role will identify and develop new opportunities for Overwatch Imaging’s sensor autonomy technology across emerging markets, international channels, and next-generation sensing applications.



What You’ll Do:



Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop go-to-market partnerships with sensor OEMs, aircraft integrators, software providers, and complementary technology companies
  • Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities aligned with company growth objectives
  • Conduct market research and develop entry strategies for new operational domains and sensing modalities
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, sales, and leadership teams to execute growth initiatives
  • Represent Overwatch Imaging at industry events, customer engagements, and partner meetings



International Expansion

  • Build relationships with international distribution partners and global customers
  • Support international sales growth through channel development and strategic partnerships
  • Evaluate opportunities for overseas training, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) centers
  • Analyze international market opportunities, competition, and regulatory considerations



Corporate Growth Initiatives

  • Support CEO communications with investors and board stakeholders
  • Prepare materials and analysis for fundraising and investor updates
  • Evaluate strategic investments, acquisitions, and partnership opportunities
  • Support long-term corporate strategy and growth planning



What You’ll Bring:



Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, aerospace, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate strategy, aerospace, defense technology, or related industries
  • Proven success driving strategic partnerships and business growth
  • Experience working with international customers or channel partners
  • Familiarity with defense, autonomy, AI, or dual-use technology markets preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of autonomy systems, airborne sensors, AI-enabled platforms, or related technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
