Supplier Quality :
Ensure the end-to-end supplier quality assurance and supplier development program to ensure incoming materials/components consistently meet specifications, regulatory/customer requirements, and support business growth. Drive supplier performance monitoring, audits, and continuous improvement; own corrective actions and re-PPAP triggers and actuals as per plan

- PPAP submission & approval: Review and approve PPAP levels per part/risk; validate capability (Cpk/Ppk), gauge R&R, material certificates, IMDS
- Change management: Enforce PCN process for any supplier initiated change request, process/alternative material/tooling/site changes; evaluate need for re-PPAP.
- Incoming quality control: Develop suppliers for Green channel material flow, Digital initiatives of measurement data storage and retrieval for each parts
- Supplier performance: Monitor and report PPM,Line losses, Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ), 8D closure lead time, audit scores, and containment effectiveness. Performance Management & Escalations
- Own enterprise supplier scorecard framework and business reviews with strategic suppliers; negotiate improvement plans and monitor the actions.
- Preparation for Supplier Quality Review (SQ Day) for high-severity incidents, field failures, and systemic CAPA; oversee containment cost recovery.
- Manage re-PPAP policy and exceptions; ensure consistency across sites/business units.
- Dashboards: Maintain Daily/weekly/monthly KPI dash boards (DMW, SQ Day, Departmental meeting actions and supplier scorecards.
- On time resolution for Field & testing concern
- Process audits: Plan and conduct process and system audits (e.g., Supplier process audits and VDA 6.3-based checklists).
- Nonconformity management: Lead structured problem solving (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D) and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Re-PPAP criteria: Trigger re-PPAP and complete as per plan and store documents in PD portal
Qualification –
BE/ B-Tech Experience – Min 10 years in the field of supplier handling especially Casting and Forging comodity.
