Therapeutic Home Manager (Significant Disabilities). Permanent Full Time - Wollongong

• →Lead and manage the home in line with the CARE model, relevant legislation, service standards and LWB policies and procedures
• →Provide direct care and support to children and young people in a residential setting
• →Be a visible and supportive leader in the home, offering guidance and role modelling for your team
• →Oversee and implement therapeutic care plans to support the wellbeing of children and young people
• →Guide your team in applying Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques
• →Provide reflective supervision and mentoring to staff, fostering a strong, supportive team culture

• Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, or a related field (desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience)
• Leadership experience in services supporting children and young people, such as out-of-home care (OOHC) and Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) settings
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, complex health needs, or behaviours of concern
• Proven ability to lead and supervise a team, embedding therapeutic care practices
• Current First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011) 
• A Current & Unrestricted driver’s licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check and NSW Residential Care Workers Register checks
