The General Accountant cum Tax Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring timely tax filings and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.

Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including preparation and timely submission of VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, and other statutory filings.

Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies when required.

Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting processes.

Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation schedules.

Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and controls.
