Business Analyst (Financial Accounting)

What you will be doing: Elicit, document, and validate requirements; write user stories and acceptance criteria. Analyse and map current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") financial workflows. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and sign-off. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during sprint reviews and backlog refinement. Assess regulatory and audit trail requirements What our client is looking for: A professional accounting qualification would be beneficial. Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping/period-end processes. Genuine interest in financial software delivery, with experience in requirements elicitation (BRS, use cases, user stories). Familiarity with IFRS/GAAP, exposure to Agile/Scrum, and SQL proficiency. Any exposure to payments/collections or ERP implementation/migration.
