Manager, Capital Markets Structured Finance

Responsible for building the Capital Markets off balance sheet platform and for developing, structuring and executing highly complex strategic transactions through new Capital Markets – Structured Finance initiatives in order to optimize the bank’s balance sheet and to improve the company’s financial performance.

• →Assist in building and leading the bank’s Capital Markets off balance sheet platform and execution strategy.
• →Assist in the evaluation, structuring and execution of potential new Capital Markets structured finance transactions including securitization, whole loan sales and forward flow agreements.
• →Drive execution with top investment banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, credit funds and private institutional investors to fund off balance sheet assets.
• →Develop and enhance relationships with capital sources, institutional investors, rating agencies and law firms.
• →Prepare investor material to position Pathward’s assets in the Capital Markets.
• →Assist the Capital Markets Data Analytics team in developing financial models relating to asset performance and pricing.
• →Manage day-to-day communication and due diligence requests from capital market partners.
• →Develop and maintain investor reporting requirements, surveillance, internal dashboard reporting andMonthly Business reviews.
• →Develop and update marketing material for prospective investors.
• →Create and maintain investor databases and transaction comparables.
• →Identify and implement new concepts, best practices and approaches related to Capital Markets reportingand operational & credit risk management.
• →Assist in overseeing all third-party Capital Markets financial and operational audits.
• →Other duties as assigned.

• →Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.  
• →MBA or CFA preferred or working towards.  
• →Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
• →5+ years of experience in Debt Capital Markets, Structured Credit, Specialty Lending and or Investment Banking.
• →Renewable Energy, SBA and USDA Asset Finance Experience a plus.
• →Experience in developing structuring and executing Loan Sales, Syndications, Forward Flow Agreements and Securitizations.
• →Ability to develop new relationships with structured product and securitization funding sources including investment banks hedge funds, insurance companies, pensions, endowments and family offices.
• →Outstanding communication skills and ability to articulate investment merits to potential capital partners
• →Structured Finance: Internally facing and requires the formulation of effective relationships within a Matrixed environment. Includes fluency in Pathward's products. External facing in developing relationships and executing highly complex transactions with Institutional Investors.

Salary range: $104,000– $174,000
