The People Solutions Specialist collaborates with various departments including, but not limited to, Payroll, Operations (service categories, States, Supervisors, Managers, Employees, etc.), Human Resources: People & Culture (P&C), Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and other cross-functional teams to ensure an elevated employee experience. The Specialist serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for assigned People Solutions processes, providing advanced support in employee lifecycle administration, HR systems, reporting, compliance, and complex case resolution. The role ensures the accurate and consistent delivery of HR services, maintains data integrity across HR systems, provides guidance to stakeholders on HR policies and processes, and partners with Operations and People & Culture teams to continuously improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and the overall employee experience.

Requirements
~1 min readBachelor’s Degree graduate in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related field with at least of 4–5 years of progressive HR Operations, Shared Services, HRIS, or People Solutions experience. Experience handling employee lifecycle administration in a shared services environment; Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar systems is preferred
- 4–5 years of experience in HR, HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HRIS, or People Solutions.
- Experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for HR processes and employee lifecycle administration.
- Strong working knowledge of HR systems and platforms, with hands-on experience in ADP Vantage preferred. Experience with Jobvite, Passport and other HRIS applications, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience developing SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.
- Ability to coach team members, manage multiple priorities, and handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Experience supporting a U.S.-based or global Shared Services environment is an advantage.
- HR Expertise: Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and HR compliance. Understanding of HR policies and best practices.
- HR Systems: Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to troubleshoot HR system issues and recommend solutions.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrates advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. Develops and delivers impactful presentations, training materials, and business communications that effectively influence stakeholders and drive outcomes.
- Attention to Detail & Quality Assurance: Exhibits exceptional attention to detail by producing accurate, high-quality work products, reports, data analyses, and documentation. Establishes quality standards, identifies discrepancies proactively, and ensures compliance with organizational processes, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to enact effective interpersonal relations skills with (internal/external) stakeholders. Delivers effective and consistent customer service. Effectively and proactively collaborates with colleagues and supervisors.
- Critical/Strategic Thinking: Applies strong analytical, strategic, and solution-oriented thinking to evaluate complex situations, identify root causes, and develop innovative, practical solutions. Exercises sound judgment and recommends process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness and business results.
- Project Management Skills: Leads and coordinates multiple projects, initiatives, and priorities simultaneously, ensuring effective planning, execution, risk management, and timely delivery of outcomes. Demonstrates the ability to manage competing demands while driving accountability and maintaining stakeholder engagement.
- Technical Skills: Maintains advanced working knowledge of Human Resources systems and technologies, including HRIS, ATS, and related platforms (e.g., ADP, Jobvite, Passport, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams). Leverages technology, reporting tools, and data analytics to drive informed decision-making, process efficiency, and continuous improvement.
