Responsibilities

Provide support to all faculty and program coordinators.

→
Assist Dean in developing and implementing faculty professional development (teaching and learning) programming.

Work with Dean to recruit and evaluate faculty.

→
Assist Dean in course scheduling and approval of student schedule change requests.

→
Assist in new and transfer student schedule development prior to fall and spring semesters.

→
Assist in the development and delivery of new faculty orientation program and ongoing support.

→
Coordinate academic advising materials and resources.

→
Facilitate working groups as needed with a focus on outcomes/deliverables.

→
Support integration of belonging principles into delivery and assessment of academic programs.

50% teaching load per academic year.

Other position-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Compensation:

→
Master’s degree required (Ph.D. preferred).

→
A minimum of four years teaching experience.

Demonstrated leadership within the faculty (Program Coordinator, Senate, CSC, etc.)

Interest in, and commitment to, student academic success, including for underrepresented populations.

Strong oral and written communications skills.

$10,000 annual addendum and 50% course release.

Work is consistently performed in an indoor office setting with normal temperature ranges for the season.

Frequent lifting and carrying of light to moderate office equipment (laptop or meeting materials) weight items.

Prolonged sitting majority of the workday to complete responsibilities.

Fine motor skills for work performed on laptop.

Good vision, including color vision if required, with corrective lenses as necessary.
