Well then you're in the right place! Pax Properties is looking for a Part-Time Night Auditor to join our team at the Equus Inn Ocala, FL.

So what exactly is a Night Auditor?

A Night Auditor is responsible for recording and keeping hotel logistical information up to date. They also help prepare reports for the following day shift (like guest check-out final statements) and help guest with any inquiries or checking in the nighttime. 

As our Night Auditor, here is an example of what your specific responsibilities would be..

• →Provide professional, courteous, and attentive guest service at all times.
• →Answer and appropriately direct incoming telephone calls.
• →Register guests, assign rooms, and complete all required registration procedures accurately.
• →Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, room accommodations, local shopping, dining, entertainment, attractions, and travel directions.
• →Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest accounts.
• →Complete the nightly audit and required reports, ensuring all daily financial transactions are accurately recorded and balanced.
• →Post room, tax, and other applicable charges accurately to guest folios.
• →Review guest accounts for accuracy and address discrepancies as appropriate.
• →Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk, workspace, and storage areas.
• →Serve as Manager on Duty during the overnight shift and exercise sound judgment when addressing

It may seem simple, but the Night Auditor is a crucial part of a hotel's operational success. With your help, the day shift will be able to operate smoothly and with minimal to no complication over guest/financial reporting tasks.
