We are currently looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join our team on a fixed-term (maternity cover) contract for approximately 18 months.

  • Produce well supported customer credit risk analysis (customer financial situation, business model, industry, and other aspects of customer activity),
  • Collect of internal and external sources of information such as financial statements, external credit reports, reviews or any other information supporting credit risk analysis,
  • Calculate credit risk exposure and recommend/apply necessary risk mitigants,
  • Process credit risk decisions in line with approval matrix, if required - prepare recommendation to make credit decisions by the relevant credit committee,
  • Support event driven or periodic review of customers portfolio in terms of credit risk verification during customer lifetime,
  • Analyze and monitor customer business information, credit data and financial statements in support of establishing and maintaining accurate risk mitigants for existing portfolio.
  • 2+ years of experience as a credit analyst or underwriter dealing with commercial exposures ranging from small business or middle market to large, multinational institutions,
  • Master’s Degree in Finance or Business-related degree,
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
  • Advanced in customer financial situation analysis and familiarity with accounting principles,
  • Very strong critical thinking traits, including analytical, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities,
  • Able to work independently under pressure and accomplish tasks assigned within tight deadline,
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Familiarity with quantitative credit models (eg. Moody's RiskCalc) and knowledge of how to interpret the outputs, and explain deviations would be an asset,
  • Hands-on experience with tools supporting analysis and reporting (tableau, SQL, excel and/or similar) would be an asset.
