Admissions & TNVR Coordinator (Full-Time)

The Admissions & TNVR Coordinator is the first point of contact for clients and visitors seeking assistance with found or lost animals, with surrendering owned pets, and with community/outdoor cats. Provides information and assistance to clients regarding all programs and services offered. Monitors and maintains the records pertaining to animal intake. Answers phones and e-mail inquiries from citizens. Ensures a clean, safe, and operational work area.

• →One-year related experience and/or training involving community outreach or grassroot efforts
• →Ability to train, educate, and positively engage others, especially those from diverse backgrounds in the community, in animal intake diversion techniques.
• →Experience working in a veterinary hospital or animal shelter
• →Bilingual (Spanish preferred)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience and/or training involving customer service

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Working knowledge of various web browsers
• Ability to complete data entry

• Multiline phone system
• Computer
• Copier / Scanner
• Leashes, Collars, Harnesses, Cat Traps, and Carriers
• Cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
• Vehicles
