Corporate Service Provider (Contract Position)

Cohort Limited  has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Service Provider to join their team of experienced professionals on a contract basis for three days a week.  

Key Responsibilities

• Administering a portfolio of local and exempted entities, including licensed insurers, investment funds and other regulated entities including all aspects of administration of client portfolios, entity specific requirements and applicable statutory regulations
• Maintaining electronic and physical records and client database including statutory records utilizing in house software system
• Attendance to filings with the Registrar of Companies, the Bermuda Monetary Authority and other government and regulatory departments as required
• Preparing for and attending board and committee meetings, drafting agendas, collating reports for inclusion in board packs liaising with board members and relevant parties
• Drafting detailed meeting minutes, written resolutions, and documents relating to annual and ad hoc filings
• Assisting compliance team with the collecting AML/KYC documentation as required and conducting periodic reviews

Competencies.

• A minimum of 5 years’ corporate services experience preferably with some investment funds and insurance experience
• A working knowledge of anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing regulations, and the Bermuda Companies Act 1981
• Experience utilizing Registrar of Companies Portal and Bermuda Monetary portals.
• Strong organisational, analytical and decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
