Beverage Cart Manager

The Beverage Cart Manager oversees the successful operation of on-course food and beverage services across PGA National’s golf courses. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and service skills to ensure an exceptional guest and member experience while maintaining financial accountability and operational standards.

Leadership & Staff Management

• Interview, hire, train, coach, and review the performance of all beverage cart attendants.

• Provide daily supervision, mentoring, and support to ensure high levels of service and adherence to standards.

• Hold monthly training and development meetings for attendants.

Operations & Service Oversight

• Supervise daily food and beverage operations on all golf courses.

• Ensure proper guest check handling and accurate financial transactions.

• Oversee inventory control, cash handling, and accountability procedures.

• Train all attendants in product knowledge, service standards, and safety procedures.

Scheduling & Budget Management

• Prepare and manage beverage cart schedules to balance service needs with budget constraints.

• Monitor and control payroll costs while meeting service demands.

• Prepare monthly food and beverage forecasts to support budget planning and operations.

Communication & Collaboration

• Work closely with the Clubhouse Manager, Food & Beverage leadership, and golf operations to align service goals.

• Provide timely reporting, data gathering, and updates to the Clubhouse Manager.

• Foster open, effective communication across all levels of the F&B team.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory and control procedures.

• Ability to count change, handle cash transactions, and perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Flexible schedule: must be available to work days/nights, weekends, and holidays.
