The Marketing Director will lead the development and execution of Piermont Bank’s integrated marketing strategy across brand, digital acquisition, product marketing, content and events. This leader will work closely with executive leadership, business units, compliance, and external partners to position Piermont as a leading innovation bank serving entrepreneurs, commercial clients, and the fintech ecosystem.

This role requires both strategic leadership and operational excellence. The ideal candidate can build the playbook while also executing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing and growth strategies to support the pipeline for the Bank’s vertically focused segments including entrepreneurs, SMB, and fintechs.
  • Build Piermont’s brand positioning as a leading digital commercial bank and embedded finance partner.
  • Manage annual marketing budget, agency relationships, and ROI measurement.
  • Oversee social media strategy, content calendar, and executive media presence.
  • Launch marketing campaigns for deposit products, lending solutions, treasury management, and embedded banking offerings.
  • Support fintech partnership, case studies, and co-marketing initiative.
  • Collaborate with business units and external partners to develop and execute a multi-channel growth strategy including emails, webinars, digital media, social, SEM and emerging tactics.
  • Work in partnership with the creative team, develop creative briefs and guide creative directions to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Lead events, including partnership, audience generation, content/topic creation and refinement, logistics, and lead follow up
  • Stay abreast of industry and marketing trends to identify more innovative ways to approach marketing channels and programs

Qualifications:

  • 8-12+ years of marketing leadership experience in financial services, fintech, B2B SaaS, or commercial banking.
  • Proven experience building integrated marketing programs that drive measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of digital acquisition, CRM, content strategy, and performance marketing.
  • Experience managing agencies, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.

The hiring range for this position is $160,000 to $180,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
