The Role
The Director, Field Training & Ambassador Education is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing a high-impact, performance-driven global training strategy that accelerates Ambassador activation, leadership development, retention, and sales growth. This role serves as the strategic architect of the Ambassador educational journey—from onboarding through executive leadership development—ensuring all learning experiences directly influence field productivity, business performance, and long-term organizational growth.
This leader drives the modernization of field education through innovative learning methodologies, AI-powered coaching tools, scalable multilingual training systems, and immersive digital learning experiences. The role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Compliance, and Ambassador Experience leadership to ensure all educational initiatives are measurable, brand-aligned, and tied to business outcomes.

Key Performance Objectives (KPOs)
- Improve onboarding completion, early activation, and 90-day retention rates through structured, performance-based learning programs.
- Increase rank advancement, sales productivity, and leadership progression by delivering scalable training tied to measurable business outcomes.
- Achieve high participation and completion rates across global training programs while improving field satisfaction and learning effectiveness.
- Implement AI-powered learning tools, multilingual training solutions, and scalable digital education systems that improve accessibility, efficiency, and coaching impact.
- Ensure all training initiatives align with company strategy, product positioning, compliance standards, and the desired Ambassador brand experience.
Performance Accountabilities
Strategic Leadership & Curriculum Development
- Own and lead the global Ambassador training strategy and educational roadmap, creating structured learning pathways from onboarding through advanced leadership development.
- Design performance-based curriculum frameworks that align directly with business growth objectives, field activation, retention, and sales performance.
- Develop needs-based learning journeys that address Ambassador growth stages beyond the first 90 days and support long-term field leadership development.
- Ensure all training content supports product education, compensation plan understanding, business-building skills, and leadership capability development.
Training Innovation & Technology Enablement
- Lead the integration of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies into field education programs, including AI-generated video, audio coaching, digital avatars, and multilingual learning solutions.
- Modernize the field training experience through scalable digital learning systems, automated content production, and innovative delivery methods.
- Evaluate and implement learning technologies, LMS platforms, and training tools that improve engagement, accessibility, and performance tracking.
Performance Measurement & Business Impact
- Partner with Sales Analytics and Ambassador Experience leadership to measure training effectiveness using field performance data, including:

- Use data-driven insights to optimize learning strategies and improve business outcomes continuously.
- Establish measurable success metrics and reporting dashboards for all major training initiatives.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Brand Alignment
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Compliance, and Executive Leadership to ensure all training materials are accurate, compliant, brand-aligned, and strategically positioned.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership regarding field education priorities, emerging training opportunities, and organizational development needs.
- Facilitate field focus groups, surveys, and leadership feedback sessions to identify training gaps and evolving field needs.
Team Leadership & Execution
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Field Training and Brand Experience functions.
- Ensure training projects, priorities, and resources are aligned with organizational objectives and execution timelines.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the training organization.
Performance-Based Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Communications, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in training, education, field development, or organizational learning
- Minimum 3+ years leading managers or senior-level teams
- Direct selling/network marketing industry experience required.
- Proven experience building large-scale curriculum and performance-based learning programs
- Experience implementing or managing LMS platforms and digital learning ecosystems
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design principles, and behavior-change methodologies
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance training delivery and scalability
- Experience analyzing performance metrics and correlating training initiatives to business outcomes
- Strong executive presence, communication skills, and cross-functional leadership capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, growth-oriented environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and global support schedules
