The Role

You are accountable for driving measurable market growth, operational excellence, and field leadership development for Plexus Mexico. This role owns the overall business performance of the Mexican market and is responsible for achieving defined revenue, recruiting, retention, leadership development, and profitability targets.

Success in this role is measured by sustainable market expansion, rank advancement, field engagement, operational efficiency, and alignment with Plexus' global strategy. The General Manager leads cross-functional execution across Sales, Operations, Administration, and Marketing while serving as the primary strategic leader and ambassador for the Mexico market.

Key Performance Objectives (KPOs)

Market Growth & Revenue

  • Achieve annual and quarterly revenue growth targets for the Mexico market.
  • Increase active Ambassador and Preferred Customer enrollments.
  • Improve retention, reactivation, and customer conversion metrics.
  • Expand market penetration and brand awareness across key regions.

Leadership Development & Field Performance

  • Increase rank advancements and leadership development throughout the market.
  • Grow the number of active and productive leaders within the organization.
  • Improve field engagement, event participation, and leadership retention.
  • Strengthen communication and trust between corporate and field leadership.

Operational Excellence

  • Improve operational efficiency, scalability, and service execution.
  • Optimize organizational structure to support market growth.
  • Ensure market compliance, process consistency, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management.

Strategic Execution

  • Successfully implement sales programs, incentive initiatives, and compensation enhancements that positively impact market performance.
  • Align local market strategies with global corporate objectives.
  • Identify and execute high-impact investments in talent, infrastructure, and business development.

Performance Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans that drive measurable growth in sales, recruiting, leadership development, retention, and profitability within the Mexico market.
  • Lead and align Sales, Operations, Administration, and Marketing functions to ensure operational excellence, scalability, compliance, and achievement of market KPIs.
  • Own market performance reporting and forecasting, including revenue, enrollments, expenses, profitability, and organizational performance, while providing strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with field leaders by providing consistent coaching, communication, leadership development, and market support that increase productivity and engagement.
  • Design and implement effective sales programs, recognition initiatives, incentives, and compensation strategies that drive field performance, rank advancements, and brand growth.
  • Represent Plexus as the primary market leader and brand ambassador for Mexico, ensuring alignment with the company's mission, values, and long-term strategic objectives.

Performance Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business or related field.
  • 12+ years of leadership experience, including 5+ years at the Director level or above.
  • Proven experience in Direct Selling and international business operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.

Leadership Competencies

  • Strong strategic planning, organizational leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to develop leaders, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability.
  • High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and business acumen.
  • Ability to lead effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.

  • Strong analytical, financial forecasting, and operational management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed.
