Logistics & Supply ChainWarehouse Supervisor

If you're the person your teammates look to when orders are stacking up and the day gets busy, our Bishop Lane warehouse needs a Warehouse Lead Associate like you.

For more than a century, Plumbers Supply Co. has supplied the plumbing, heating, and piping trades from our family-owned home base in Louisville. Contractors count on us to have what they need, when they need it, and the warehouse is where that promise is kept. Our lead associates keep it running.

  • Leaders who own the outcome and hold themselves to the same standard as the team
  • Precision when handling materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
  • Clear communication and real teamwork, because a smooth warehouse depends on both
  • You like leading from the floor, not from behind a desk.
  • You can coordinate a full day of order picking and still keep an eye on the details.
  • You enjoy a fast-paced shift where your leadership shows up in the results.
  • If you prefer a slower pace or struggle to juggle several priorities at once, this role probably isn't the right match.
  • Lead the Team: Assign tasks, give clear direction, set expectations, and hold your crew accountable.
  • Keep Orders Moving: Make sure every customer order is picked, shipped correctly, and out the door on time.
  • Protect Inventory Accuracy: Keep stock organized and well documented so the numbers always match the shelves.
  • Champion Safety: Maintain a safe, accessible warehouse for everyone and follow all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Solve and Improve: Track down discrepancies, find the root cause, and fix the process so it doesn't happen again.
  • Run the Equipment: Operate cherry pickers, forklifts, and other material handling equipment when needed.
  • Report Back: Keep accurate records of warehouse activity and update management regularly.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Lead or in a similar supervisory role
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Comfort with warehouse software and systems
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • The ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in logistics is a plus)

We offer a competitive salary and a full benefits package:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid holidays and paid time off
  • Life insurance
  • Short- and long-term disability coverage
  • A robust wellness program
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Real opportunities to advance
