Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Clean and prepare guest tents, ensuite bathrooms, private decks, entry areas, and other assigned spaces according to Nightsky standards.
- →Make beds, replace linen and terry, clean bathrooms, dust furnishings, vacuum and mop floors, clean glass and fixtures, remove trash, and reset accommodations for arrival.
- →Replenish guest supplies, amenities, beverages, and other in-room items according to established placement and par standards.
- →Complete departure, stayover, vacant-room, deep-cleaning, and special-request assignments within established productivity expectations.
- →Inspect each accommodation before completion to ensure it is clean, fully staged, functioning properly, and ready for the guest.
- →Protect the condition and appearance of bedding, furnishings, décor, fixtures, decks, outdoor furniture, and guest-facing equipment.
- →Report maintenance concerns, damage, missing items, pest activity, safety hazards, and unusual conditions promptly.
- →Communicate room status, delays, guest requests, and required follow-up clearly with leadership.
- →Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked housekeeping cart and assigned supply areas.
- →Handle linen, terry, amenities, chemicals, and cleaning supplies responsibly to minimize waste, damage, and unnecessary replacement.
- →Assist with linen collection, laundry production, stocking, public-area cleaning, amenity delivery, and other housekeeping needs as assigned.
- →Respect guest privacy and follow all procedures related to room access, keys, occupied accommodations, lost and found, and personal belongings.
- →Respond courteously to guests and provide assistance or connect them with the appropriate team member when needed.
- →Follow safe procedures for chemicals, equipment, lifting, carts, personal protective equipment, and working on decks, pathways, and varied terrain.
- →Support arrivals, groups, events, special occasions, and property-wide preparation based on operational needs.
- →Perform other housekeeping and cross-functional duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min read- Previous hotel housekeeping, residential cleaning, janitorial, or related experience preferred.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, organization, and presentation.
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures, room standards, assignments, and safety instructions consistently.
- Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
- Comfortable interacting with guests and working around occupied accommodations.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfort working indoors and outdoors across hills, pathways, varied terrain, and changing weather conditions.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull; and regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
