Eldora is the backyard winter mountain playground for Greater Denver, Boulder County, and Colorado's northern Front Range. Eldora is located just outside of the charming mountain town of Nederland, Colorado, about 20 miles west of Boulder and less than 50 miles from downtown Denver.
Eldora strives to deliver Colorado’s Front Range the most memorable outdoor adventures to locals and out-of-town visitors. Eldora Mountain Resort employs up to 700 employees at peak season and has 680 acres of lift-accessible terrain for skiing and snowboarding, including a Woodward Mountain Park experience, and a world class Nordic Center.

Assist with all grooming maintenance of terrain parks, half pipes, terrain-based teaching areas and ski slopes.

Participate in the building and construction of all terrain park features and other related projects.

Assist with the set-up and clean-up of special events as requested.

Work directly with the Terrain Park Manager as a team to accomplish daily goals.

Perform assigned duties as required to support other mountain operation departments.

Work outside of a snowcat in inclement or severe weather conditions.

Responsible for the cleanliness, and upkeep of snowcats.

Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.

This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for our guests.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.
High school degree or equivalent.
Must have a valid US Driver’s License and complete an MVR check to company standards.
Minimum age 18 years old to drive company vehicles
2+ years' experience operating snowcats (preferably in a Terrain Park setting)
Must be able to problem solve and quickly adapt to changes.
Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with all types of personnel.
Able to use 2-way radios.

This position is a seasonal position and may have fluctuations in hours worked based upon overall business volumes.
Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling & prolonged standing.
Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment.
Concentrated reading and writing.
Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Variation in temperature from hot to cold.
Ability to work long hours including overnight shifts and weekend/holidays.
Must be able to work outside in cold temperatures and adverse weather conditions.
