This is a hunter role with full commercial ownership.

As a Business Development  Specialist with a Job Title of Growth Partner at Helm, you are responsible for generating new enterprise revenue through managed AI and CX services.

You build the pipeline.
You define the strategy.
You engage senior decision-makers.
You close responsibly.

You operate like a business owner inside Helm, accountable for your territory strategy, pipeline quality, forecasting accuracy, and revenue performance.

This is not transactional selling. Every deal becomes a long-term partnership focused on measurable ROI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1.  TERRITORY STRATEGY & MARKET POSITIONING

  • Define and execute a clear enterprise sales strategy.
  • Identify priority industries and target accounts.
  • Develop structured account plans.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis.
  • Identify white-space opportunities and growth angles.

             You pursue deliberate opportunity, not random activity.

2. PIPELINE GENERATION & REVENUE GROWTH

  • Proactively source and develop new enterprise opportunities.
  • Leverage your network and industry relationships - create new relationships and grow them 
  • Maintain consistent outbound momentum.
  • Build and manage a healthy, self-generated pipeline.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets through disciplined execution.

            This role requires energy, resilience and a go-getter mindset.

3. CLIENT ENGAGEMENT & SOLUTION SELLING

  • Lead structured discovery conversations.
  • Uncover commercial drivers and operational gaps.
  • Conduct functional gap analysis.
  • Present outcome-driven managed service solutions.
  • Engage confidently with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Articulate Helm’s value proposition at every stage.

             You sell outcomes, not features.

4. DEFINING & CLOSING DEALS

  • Scope commercially sound managed service solutions.
  • Collaborate early with Design, Product and Engineering.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial and operational risks.
  • Develop structured proposals and cost models.
  • Negotiate professionally.
  • Close with a long-term partnership in mind.

              We do not sell and disappear.

5. COMMERCIAL DISCIPLINE & CRM OWNERSHIP

There is no sales administrator, so you are responsible for:

  • Daily CRM management (Pipedrive).
  • Accurate deal stages and next steps.
  • Reliable forecasting.
  • Understanding your pipeline value, weighted forecast, and close ratios.
  • Tracking revenue performance against target.

You run your territory like a business.


6. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

At Helm, we do not operate in silos. You will work closely with:

  • The Solutions team to ensure we can deliver 
  • Client Success to protect long-term value
  • Leadership to align commercial strategy

             Strong sales at Helm are collaborative, structured, and strategic.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 5–7 years of experience in technology or managed services sales.
  • Strong new business (hunter) track record.
  • Experience selling complex enterprise solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience engaging C-suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong CRM discipline (Pipedrive preferred).
  • Solid understanding of AI, automation, or CX environments.
