PREMIER HEALTH – SYSTEM SUPPORT Department: Digital Health & Technology – Clinical Inpatient Pharmacy Schedule: Full-Time / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM / 80 hours per pay period (every two weeks). This is a fully remote position; however, periodic travel to onsite locations may be required based on business needs, meetings, training, or project requirements. If you’re a pharmacist who enjoys improving workflows, solving complex problems, and making a broader impact beyond direct dispensing, this Pharmacist Programmer Analyst opportunity at Premier Health offers a compelling path into the IT side of healthcare. This role is ideal for someone motivated by the chance to blend clinical pharmacy knowledge with technology, helping shape how medications, orders, dispensing logic, and pharmacy systems function across the enterprise. In this position, you will be responsible for application configuration, deployment and support, changing documentation, and educating and informing staff on EPIC Willow (Inpatient Pharmacy) functionality. You will anticipate business needs and think with a business owner mindset, using strong system knowledge and an understanding of organizational infrastructure to recommend solutions that help the enterprise achieve its goals. You’ll stay current with the Epic Willow system and other relevant pharmacy applications while coordinating across multiple teams to deliver meaningful solutions. This position also includes on-call responsibilities. Premier Health utilizes the EPIC system as its electronic medical record, supporting secure clinical information management and enhanced patient care. Within that environment, the Epic Willow Team plays a critical role in supporting applications related to medication configuration, medication lists, medication orders, label printing, carts and batches, dispense logic, automated dispensing systems, preference lists, charging, medical device integration, and interfaces. For pharmacists looking to transition into healthcare IT, this is an opportunity to make a systems-level impact on patient care, medication safety, and operational excellence. Premier Health offers the kind of environment professionals value: a mission-driven health system where technology and clinical expertise work together to improve outcomes. Employees are often drawn to organizations like Premier Health because they can see how their work matters, feel supported in their development, and collaborate with colleagues who are equally committed to quality care and continuous improvement. In this role, you’ll feel connected not only to the pharmacy and IT teams, but to the larger mission of supporting clinicians and patients across the enterprise. You’ll partner with users, analysts, leaders, developers, vendors, and consultants, translating technical concepts into practical solutions that improve day-to-day operations. It’s the kind of position that can be especially rewarding for pharmacists who want to remain close to clinical operations while expanding into application support, optimization, and systems strategy.
