Scheduler Assistant / Interpreter Services

Position: Interpreter Services Scheduler Assistant Department: Interpreter Services Shift: Variable hours per week during 8:00 am-4:30 pm Facility: Miami Valley Hospital The position requires excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Key responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating interpreter services, managing patient and staff communications, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting daily operational needs. This role regularly uses EPIC, Microsoft Office, and other administrative systems to manage requests, update records, and support efficient service delivery. Candidates should be detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to provide professional and responsive support to patients, staff, and vendors. High school diploma or GED required. * 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, coordinator, or similar office support role. * Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) and general administrative systems. * Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as data management systems. * Excellent organizational, communication, customer service, and time-management skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. * Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse patient populations, healthcare professionals, and team members.
