SECURITY SPECIALIST-ARMED

Job Title: Security Specialist-Armed Unit: Campus Police Shift: Varies Status: Full-time/ 80 Hours Per Pay Facility: Upper Valley Medical Center GENERAL SUMMARY Security officer means any persons whose primary duties are to protect persons or property. Security officers means non-commissioned. Security Officers are not authorized to exercise police officer powers. Responsible for investigation of criminal offenses that occur on facility property. Enforce facility rules and regulations. EDUCATION * Minimum Level of Education Required: High School Diploma / GED ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS * Preferred educational qualifications: Associate degree LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION * OPOTA- Required Basic Security Guard Training. Including, the state required 20 hours of firearms Training * Valid Ohio driver’s license required EXPERIENCE * Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience * No prior job-related work experience
