IT Business Analyst (D365 or Certinia)

This is a remote role (situated within the Continental US) with associated travel of 5%.

• →Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
• →Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• →Partner with Solution Architects, Developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
• →Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed changes.
• →Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements gathering sessions.
• →Analyze existing business processes and recommend enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.
• →Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test scenarios, tracking defects, and ensuring issues are resolved.
• →Prepare documentation such as business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications, and workflow diagrams.
• →Provide ongoing support for systems, processes, and applications post-implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in BA / BS in Computer Science, Business, MIS) or the equivalent work experience and / or military experience
• 3+ years of experience working as an adept business analyst on software development teams
• Strong working knowledge with SQL, Salesforce, Power BI, and technical writing
• Advanced in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio / LucidChart
• Proficient+ in agile software development methodologies and Board management, e.g. AzureDevops & Jira
• Strong understanding of project management
• Experience with large implementations / third party vendor tools / integrating with ERP, CRM, PSA, and Portal tools
• 2-4 years' experience with Dynamics 365 F&O General Ledger / AP / ExFlow AP or Certinia Quote to Order / Project Scope to Closure / Forecasting & RevRec / Personas
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities
• Skilled in business process modeling, requirements elicitation, and gap analysis
• Ability to simplify complex systems and processes, providing insights to support strategic decision-making
• Proven capacity to manage multiple concurrent work streams and shifting priorities
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation and facilitation abilities, including creating and delivering impactful materials
• Skilled at conducting interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to surface essential requirements
• Experienced in building and maintaining effective relationships with business units, partners, and executives
• Adaptable and flexible, able to thrive in dynamic and fast-changing environments
• Broad business and technical knowledge, with the acumen to connect people, processes, and tools to achieve organizational goals
• Strong background in accounting and financial systems, with experience supporting financial teams and systems is a plus
• Direct support of end users in Dynamics 365 F&O General Ledger / AP / ExFlow AP or direct support of end users in Certinia Quote to Order / Project Scope to Closure / Forecasting & RevRec / Personas
• Other preferred application experience: Salesforce, CPQ, Vertex, ExFlow, Xait
• Must be a US Citizen

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certifications with a minimum of 3 applied years is a plus.
