Head of Student Wellbeing, University Hall

• Provide counselling and case management support for students in a residential setting.
• Develop and deliver co-curricular programs that support student mental health and wellbeing.
• Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 2 Years (with a possibility of extension).
• Salary range: $104,243– $115,661 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

The Residential Life Team is integral to developing and sustaining a vibrant living-learning community that promotes diversity and inclusion. By fostering and supporting pastoral care needs and maintaining a safe environment, University Hall promotes and enhances opportunities for student growth and success.

• You will play a key role in fostering a safe, energetic and harmonious living and learning environment for residents.
• Plan, develop and implement resident well-being initiatives, support accessibility pathways, cocurricular programs and pastoral care to all residents from a diverse range of cultural, national, socio-economic and educational backgrounds.

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent competency.
• Current registration/eligible for registration with an associated professional organisation such as Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) or Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
• Minimum of two years' experience in the provision of mental health support including suicide crisis and risk assessment and intervention. 
• Experience in delivering training/ workshops related to mental health and wellbeing.

• Some after-hours work may be required.
• Current WA Working With Children Check.
• National Police Clearance Certificate will be conducted.
