This is a hybrid position (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office) based out of our Maple Plain location.
 
The Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enable successful adoption of new/improved processes, systems, and business initiatives across the Customer Success Organization. This role partners closely with the Customer Success Organization, as well as our dedicated Continuous Improvement Specialist and Technical Program Manager to assess training  & communication needs, update and/or create effective learning materials, deliver communications and training, measure adoption and effectiveness, and gather employee feedback to support continuous improvement. The Training Specialist plays a key role in ensuring employees are informed, prepared, and equipped to succeed as the business evolves. 
  • Partner with teams such as Rev Ops, L&D, and Tech Leads to design, evolve, and maintain training materials, job aids, and standard operating procedures. 

  • Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training to employees across the Customer Success Organization. 

  • Coordinate training schedules and ensure timely completion of training activities. 

  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to content and delivery methods. 

  • Ensure training materials are kept up to date and modified as needed when system or process changes/updates occur.  

  • Identify and own the repository for training materials to ensure ease of access for users and an overall positive user experience. 

  • Develop and execute communication plans to support training initiatives and organizational readiness for continuous improvement efforts. 

  • Partner with leaders and project teams to identify training impacts and prepare teams for upcoming changes. 

  • Create and distribute training-related communications, updates, and announcements. 

  • Support readiness activities to ensure successful implementation of new processes, tools, and programs. 

  • Establish and maintain reporting to track training participation, completion, effectiveness, and business adoption. 

  • Monitor key performance indicators to measure training outcomes and organizational readiness. 

  • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. 

  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to leadership based on results. 

  • Gather feedback from employees and stakeholders through surveys, coaching sessions, and informal discussions. 

  • Assess employee understanding, engagement, and adoption of training content. 

  • Develop follow-up communications that share progress, successes, lessons learned, and areas requiring additional focus. 

  • Continuously improve training programs based on feedback, metrics, and changing business needs. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 

  • 3+ years of experience in training, learning and development, employee enablement, or related roles. 

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments. 

  • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.  

  • Experience developing training materials and delivering training to diverse audiences. 

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement. 

  • Strong project management, organizational, and collaboration skills. 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly identify needs of stakeholders and proactively propose programs in support of team goals 

  • The ability to be an engaging presenter who can deliver information effectively and encourages participation in remote, hybrid and in person environments 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools including SharePoint, Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and Outlook; familiarity with AI technologies.

    Physical Demands:

    Work Environment:
    Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. However, there may be job duties that require the employee to spend time in the manufacturing areas exposed to machinery and noise; eye protection occasionally required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
