About the Role

As an SAP Senior Finance Functional Analyst, you’ll help our Accounting, Finance, and Controlling teams use SAP effectively and improve the systems that support their work. You’ll partner with business stakeholders and global IT to understand business needs, develop functional solutions, resolve application issues, and support SAP implementations and rollouts.

This role focuses on SAP FI and SAP FICO functional analysis, application support, and process improvement. Successful candidates will bring experience translating finance business needs into SAP solutions beyond reporting or end-user activities.

This position is based in our Highland Heights, KY office. Candidates in the Greater Cincinnati area are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • →Partner with Finance: Work with Accounting, Finance, and Controlling stakeholders to understand current processes, gather requirements, and identify opportunities to improve SAP functionality.
  • →Develop Functional Solutions: Translate business requirements into SAP FI/FICO functional specifications and coordinate with global IT and technical teams to deliver solutions.
  • →Support SAP Finance Applications: Serve as a functional specialist for assigned SAP finance applications and their interactions with other systems and the broader IT architecture.
  • →Deliver System Changes: Execute or coordinate activities throughout the application lifecycle, including requirements gathering, specifications, development coordination, testing, go-live, and ongoing maintenance.
  • →Support Projects and Rollouts: Contribute to SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and rollout initiatives, including planning, coordination, and validation of system changes.
  • →Resolve Application Issues: Investigate SAP finance issues, identify root causes, and manage user support tickets through resolution.
  • →Maintain Reliable Applications: Monitor application performance and functionality, working with business and IT teams to address errors and support dependable operations.
  • →Coordinate Business Analysis and Project Activities: Provide business analysis and project coordination for assigned application initiatives.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year degree, required.
  • Three to five years of functional experience with SAP FI (Financial Accounting) or SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling), preferred.
  • Experience translating finance business requirements into SAP functional solutions, including requirements gathering, functional specifications, testing, and application support.
  • Experience troubleshooting SAP application issues and resolving user support tickets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with Finance users and technical teams.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
  • Work is performed in a standard office environment using typical office equipment.
  • Duties involve extended periods at a desk or workstation and regular computer use, including typing and data entry.
  • The role requires collaboration, management of competing priorities, and timely responses to business-critical application issues.
