Pulse is currently seeking two experienced Band 6 Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technicians to join the team at Maudsley Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist clinical trials pharmacy service, supporting the safe and effective delivery of research studies within a hospital setting.
The successful candidates will play a key role in the coordination, dispensing, and management of clinical trials, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support the delivery of clinical trials pharmacy services within a hospital setting
- →Dispense and manage investigational medicinal products (IMPs)
- →Assist in the setup, organisation, and maintenance of clinical trials
- →Develop and contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and research documentation
- →Ensure compliance with ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and UK Clinical Trials Regulations
- →Work collaboratively with pharmacists, clinicians, and research teams
- →Maintain accurate and up-to-date trial documentation and records
Requirements
~1 min read- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences (or recognised equivalent)
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) with up-to-date CPD
- Experience working within a hospital clinical trials pharmacy service
- Proven experience in dispensing and organising clinical trials
- Knowledge of ICH GCP and UK Clinical Trials Regulations
- Experience writing SOPs and research documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
