PuroClean Restoration Specialists is looking for a Lead Pack-Out Technician to take ownership of our contents projects and help lead our pack-out team.

When someone has water, fire, or mold damage, their home may be torn apart and their belongings need to be carefully packed, documented, cleaned, stored, and eventually returned. Our customers are often overwhelmed. We need someone who can walk into that situation, connect with the customer, earn their trust, and confidently lead the process.

Who We're Looking For

Restoration experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who brings the qualities we're looking for.

You may be a great fit if you:

Are self-directed. Once you understand the scope and expectations, you don't need someone constantly telling you what to do next.
Have a sense of urgency. You understand that in restoration, things need to happen now—not eventually.
Are warm and comfortable with people. You can explain what we're doing, answer questions, and help customers feel comfortable trusting us with their home and belongings.
Are detail-oriented. Labels, inventories, photos, documentation, and organization matter to you.
Are process-oriented. You like having a system and following it consistently.
Take ownership. If you're leading the job, you pay attention to the details and follow it through.
Can lead a team while still being willing to work alongside them.
Notice when something isn't right and take action rather than waiting for someone else to point it out.
Can stay calm and organized when there are a lot of moving pieces.

What You'll Own

You will lead the pack-out process from beginning to end, including:

Walking projects and understanding the scope of work.
Communicating with homeowners and gaining their confidence in our process.
Leading the pack-out team and keeping the project moving.
Carefully packing and protecting customers' belongings.
Photographing, labeling, inventorying, and tracking contents.
Transporting contents to and from our warehouse.
Cleaning and deodorizing contents affected by water, smoke, soot, or other contaminants.
Maintaining accurate job documentation.
Making sure the office has the information needed to bill accurately and promptly.
Keeping customer contents separated, labeled, and organized in our warehouse.
Leading pack-backs and making sure customers' belongings are returned to the proper locations.
Identifying problems early and communicating them before they become bigger problems.

What Success Looks Like

When you're doing this job well, the customer trusts you and understands what is happening. Your team knows the plan. The job keeps moving without someone having to chase you. Boxes and contents are properly labeled and accounted for. Documentation is complete. The warehouse stays organized. The office has what it needs to bill the job. And when the customer's belongings are returned, they are clean, organized, and handled with care.
