We’re looking for our next Senior Manager, Investment Operations. Could It Be You? The Senior Manager, Investment Operations  is a critical leadership role within the Questbank Operations team, reporting to the Director. You are responsible for the operational backbone of Questbank’s deposit-gathering and investment products, including GICs, and High-Interest Savings Accounts (HISA). and Tax-Advantaged accounts (TFSA, RRSP, FHSA). Your mission is to ensure that every investment is booked accurately, interest is calculated with complete accuracy, , and all tax reporting is completely compliant with Canada Revenue Agency tax requirements. This position will be expected to  automate processes and find efficiencies through AI utilizations . Need more details? Keep reading… In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Investment & Deposit Operations Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end operational processing for GICs (origination, renewals, and maturity) and HISA products. Registered Plan Administration: Own the operational compliance and administration of registered accounts (TFSA, RRSP, FHSA, etc.), including contribution tracking and withdrawals. Reconciliation & Accuracy: Ensure all investment sub-ledgers reconcile perfectly with the general ledger and verify interest accruals and postings daily. Tax Reporting: Manage the seasonal and ongoing operational requirements for CRA tax reporting and client tax slip production. Strategic Partnership & Leadership Product Implementation: Lead the operational readiness and execution for new investment product launches and promotional rate campaigns. Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Product team to translate investment roadmaps into scalable operational workflows. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a specialized team of Investment Operations Analysts, ensuring a high degree of technical proficiency and attention to detail. Risk, Compliance & Governance Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all investment operations adhere to CRA regulations, CDIC requirements, and OSFI guidelines. Audit Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for internal and external audits related to investment products and tax reporting. Process Control: Maintain and update operational procedures to reflect changes in risk, compliance, governance,  regulatory expectations or general procedural changes. You are if you… 5-7+ years of experience in Investment Operations, Wealth Management, and Retail Banking (Deposit focus). 5+ years of people management, including training, development,& staff performance Strong leadership and staff management skills Strong communication,  interpersonal, analytical  and problem solving skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA or CFA designation (or progress towards) is considered a strong asset. Deep knowledge of Canadian registered plans (TFSA, RRSP, etc.) and CRA reporting requirements. Experience with GIC administration and interest calculation methodologies. Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in managing financial data and complex regulatory filings. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of core banking systems and sub-ledger accounting. Problem Solving: Ability to navigate complex tax and registration issues for clients. Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to partner effectively with Product, Risk, and Sales teams.
