Analyst - Operational Readiness - 50013216 - DA3

Role purpose

Support the Operational Readiness team by collecting and checking workstream information, maintaining accurate trackers and evidence records, and preparing clear progress updates. Under guidance, the Analyst helps identify missing inputs, overdue actions and emerging dependencies so that accountable owners can resolve them before operational activation.

Key responsibilities

·   Update readiness plans, checklists, milestone trackers and action logs using inputs from workstream owners; record the source and date of each update.

·   Collect and organise evidence for workforce, training, procedures, assets, systems, permits and service mobilisation against agreed readiness criteria.

·   Check submissions for completeness and consistency; flag missing evidence, conflicting dates or unassigned actions to the responsible specialist or manager.

·   Prepare routine status summaries, dashboards and meeting packs that distinguish verified completion from work still in progress.

·   Maintain risk, issue, dependency and decision logs; follow up assigned actions and escalate blockers promptly.

·   Support coordination of readiness workshops, site inspections, testing, rehearsals and operational trials, including minutes and action follow-up.

·   Assist with reviews of handover documentation, operating procedures and mobilisation plans by recording comments and tracking responses.

·   Maintain orderly document control, version history and traceable records for readiness assurance and transition to operations.

·   Support post-activation close-out and lessons learned, and suggest practical improvements to templates and reporting.

Key relationships

Internal: Operational Readiness, Operations, Project Delivery, Facilities and Asset Management, HSE, Security, Technology and other workstream owners. External: contractors, consultants, operators and service providers, as directed by the team.

Qualifications and experience

·   Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, project management or a related discipline.

·   Typically 0-2 years of relevant experience; graduates with suitable internships or project experience may be considered.

·   Familiarity with project delivery, operations or asset handover is advantageous; professional certification is not required at entry level.

Skills and working approach

·   Strong attention to detail, data accuracy and ability to keep an audit trail.

·   Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; ability to learn readiness and reporting tools.

·   Clear written communication, structured follow-up and confidence to flag obstacles early.

·   Ability to complete defined tasks to an agreed standard with guidance and feedback.
