Automotive AI Software Support Engineer

## Company: Qualcomm CDMA Technologies, Y.K. ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Applications Engineering General Summary: As a member of the Qualcomm Japan Customer Engineering Team, the candidate will be responsible for supporting Qualcomm customers using Snapdragon chipsets in Automotive segment. This role requires close communication with both customers and internal development or engineering teams to understand customer requirements and system design. The candidate will provide end-to-end support for customer AI model deployment and optimization on QC SoC AI accelerator engine. Skills/Experience: * Embedded software knowledge, Experience on device driver development for any of embedded OS (Windows OS, Android, Linux etc). * Understanding of AI model basic concept/architecture, deep learning framework (ONNX, PyTorch). * Understanding of System level features, Processor and Power management, architecting system level features. * Hands-on experience in complex and multi-domain large features. * Problem solving and debugging skills. * Ability to co-ordinate across stakeholders and Task management * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering * 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. * Embedded OS (Kernel architecture, OS services heap, memory, multi-core, multi-threading, and crash debugging). * Knowledge of AI model basic concept/architecture, AI open-source framework (ONNX, PyTorch). * Communication, written & interpersonal skills, motivation, the ability to learn quickly. * Japanese language (Native, to have close communication with Japanese customers) * English language (to collaborate with engineers in the other country, US, APAC, India etc) Nice to have : * AD/ADAS AI stack development experience. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
