Linux Audio SW Engineer

## Company: Qualcomm China ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary: Responsibilities We’re looking for skilled senior engineer to develop linux audio drivers on snapdragon SoC based products. You will be responsible for new audio feature design, audio technology investigation and development. You will also be responsible for audio issue debugging and resolving across various platforms. Requirements * Experienced in ALSA driver and ASOC driver development * Familiar with Linux kernel and userspace development and debugging * Familiar with pusleaudio, pipewire * Familiar with ubuntu system is a plus * Familiar with android framework is a plus * Familiar with git/gerrit tools is a plus * Familiar with ASPICE is a plus * MS in CS/EE with 3+ years’ experience (or BS with 5+ years) in audio software development * Proficient C, C++ programming * Excellent software design, problem solving, debugging, documentation and presentation skills and proved experience. * Well organized, great communication and reporting skills * English communication capability able to work with colleagues around the world smoothly. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
