Engineering Data Analytics and Applications team (EDAAP) is looking for an experienced developer with a strong programming background. The EDAAP team is responsible for the development of software and analytics solutions enabling planning, execution and optimization of chipset lifecycle. This role involves designing and developing high-quality software solutions to develop and manage Enterprise level software applications. The ideal candidate is an experienced software developer skilled in multiple programming languages and frameworks, parallel programming, efficient algorithms and data structures, design patterns, task automation through tools and scripting. What will you do? This role’s responsibilities include: Create reusable components and libraries for future use. Perform comprehensive code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. Enhance operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending policy and procedure changes. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues by leveraging expertise from various departments. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers. Minimum Qualifications: • 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems). OR 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree. • 3+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with Full-stack Application Development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) • 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores. What do we want to see? The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills: Over 6 years of hands-on experience in full stack development. Experience building full-stack apps and frontend development frameworks Proficient in programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java/J2EE, Rust, Angular, and React. Ability and experience in writing reusable code and know-how of best practices and design patterns. Experience working in an agile development environment. Extensive knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB). Experience with UI/UX design Experience building full-stack apps and frontend development frameworks Experience with D3, Highcharts (or other charting libraries) Experience working on linux based systems. Expertise in software lifecycle management, version control, coding, and CI/CD best practices to ensure quality, agility, and security. Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and analysis implications to a diverse audience. Knowledge of different types of enterprise systems, their interaction, and boundaries within an enterprise. Excellent communication and team-oriented, with a strong inclination to work collaboratively. Experience working in a distributed team and communicating across geographic boundaries Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer science, Computational Science, or a related field. Understanding of HPC systems (compute, storage, network, middleware) is a plus. Experience in AI and ML technologies is a strong plus. Experience with Search frameworks (Lucene/Apache SOLR/Elastic Search) Intermediate level working knowledge of Redis and Elasticsearch Experience with messaging technologies (RabbitMQ/Kafka) and system integration Experience in developing applications within public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience of using web sockets or service workers Experience building statistical data visualizations Good knowledge of SOA, web services and integration technologies like camel and Spring Integration.
