Soc Validation Engineer

## Company: Qualcomm China ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > ASICS Engineering General Summary: Experience: * 3 to 5 years of applicable work experience * Strong knowledge in ASIC design process, digital design concepts, design verification tools and techniques, computer architecture, etc. * Skill in Chip testing and Bring up * Experience with SoC validation and debugging * Experience with CPU subsystem validation and debugging * Experience with debug system validation and debugging * Experience with automation infrastructure and processes development * Experience with tools and computer language/scripts such as C, Perl, TCL, makefiles, shell scripts * Experience with ARM is a strong plus * Experience with ASIC design/verification is a plus Requirements: * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Experience with high speed peripheral hardware design and debug * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English * Good team player Description of Function & Responsibility * CPU subsystem pre-silicon and post-silicon validation * Debug subsystem validation * CPU subsystem bring-up * Infrastructure and flow/methodology enhancement * Communication and collaboration with multiple teams in Geos around the world. * Team training and enhancement Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
