## Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Test Engineering General Summary: Key Responsibilities 🖥️ Display Validation * Lead validation of the complete display pipeline: GPU → DPU → Display Interfaces (eDP, DP, HDMI, Type-C) * Drive feature-level validation and debugging across: * PSR (Panel Self Refresh), VRR, DSC, HDR, HDCP * Multi-display, external display, and docking station scenarios * Resolution & bandwidth topics: FHD, 2K, 4K — including timing analysis and link training * Perform deep cross-layer debugging spanning driver, firmware, OS, and hardware interaction layers 🔗 System Interoperability (IOP) * Own multi-OEM device validation across HP, Dell, Lenovo, and other key OEM partners * Drive power, hibernate, and multi-configuration testing across diverse system scenarios * Collaborate with OEM partners on hardware inventory expansion including USB4 v2, DP 2.1, and HDMI 2.1 scenarios ⚙️ Automation & CI/CD * Lead automation of Display and AI validation workloads using automation frameworks * Design and maintain CI/CD-integrated pipelines for: * Continuous regression testing * Multi-device parallel execution * Auto-triggered execution pipelines for large-scale validation 🔍 System-Level Debugging * Lead log analysis and root cause identification for complex, cross-functional issues * Perform cross-layer debugging across driver, OS, firmware, and DSP domains 🔌 USB4 Certification * Drive USB4 compliance and interoperability validation * Debug certification issues and contribute to TAT (Turn-Around Time) reduction for certification programs Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. • 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced Sr Staff/Staff Engineer to join the Windows on Snapdragon (WoS) Platform team. This role is central to driving end-to-end display and system validation for next-generation Snapdragon-powered platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across the display pipeline, system interoperability, AI/DSP validation, and automation — with a proven track record of influencing quality outcomes at scale.
