Join a steel fabrication team operating CNC and automated equipment used to cut, drill, saw, and process structural steel. This hands-on position combines machine operation, material inspection, production documentation, and safe material handling.

The work requires extended periods on your feet and regular handling of steel materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Set up and operate CNC and structural steel processing equipment.

Run equipment such as:

Kinetic Plasma Table
Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Line
Peddinghaus Angle Master
Ficep Beamline
Select machine settings based on material, dimensions, and production requirements.
Verify steel type, stock dimensions, quantities, and measurements before processing.
Measure finished and in-process materials for accuracy.
Mark parts with required identification and production information.
Record daily production and material usage.
Perform routine preventive maintenance.
Identify machine problems and assist with basic troubleshooting.
Safely operate overhead cranes and material transfer/conveyor systems.
Keep the work area organized and follow required safety procedures.
