Finance/Accounting Graduate - Tax and Compliance

A reputable financial services company is looking for a detail-oriented and organised finance or accounting graduate to join their team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will provide support with SARS-related administration for individuals and trusts, ensuring compliance and assisting the team with essential documentation, registrations, and profile updates. This role offers valuable exposure to a wide range of tax administration processes and is ideal for a proactive and reliable individual who can work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Registering individuals and trusts for tax Updating tax representatives and managing related documentation Coordinating the transfer of eFiling profiles Scheduling and attending SARS meetings (where required) Preparing, archiving, and scanning documentation for audits Providing general administrative support to the tax team Requirements Accounting degree or diploma (completion of accounting articles advantageous) Background in or understanding of taxation beneficial Proficient in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel); familiarity with tax software advantageous Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Clear credit and criminal record (FIC compliant) Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
