About the Role
~1 min readJoin the Northern Country CAMHS team as a Psychologist or Senior Psychologist, delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological services to children and adolescents aged 0–16 years and their families within a multidisciplinary CAMHS setting. The primary focus of the role is direct clinical service delivery, including comprehensive assessment, formulation and therapeutic intervention for children and young people with complex mental health needs. You will balance clinical work with consultation and collaborative support to colleagues within the multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared clinical decision-making and service quality through joint clinical work, education and participation in governance processes.
The Senior Psychologist role additionally offers advanced clinical leadership through supervision, complex case consultation, service coordination, quality improvement, research and workforce development. Both roles support culturally responsive, person-centred care, active consumer participation, and ongoing professional development to strengthen service quality and outcomes.
