About the Role
~1 min readThe Senior Clinical Coordinator provides specialist clinical expertise in the coordination and planning of multidisciplinary assessments for children with complex neurodevelopmental concerns. The role leads the development, coordination, implementation, delivery and evaluation of high-quality, evidence-based assessment and management services. The position provides advanced clinical assessment and support to children, adolescents and their families experiencing complex developmental differences.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage the delivery of high quality and evidence-based services to children presenting with complex developmental differences in three or more areas of their development
- →Have knowledge of child development and of the range of services available for children and their families within South Australia that promote child development
- →Contribute to the effective and professional functioning on the Child Development Unit
- →Encourage and foster a positive culture and safe working environment
- →Participate in service planning to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, equitable distribution and evidence-based nature of WCHN services.
Requirements
~1 min read- Relevant Allied Health degree with AHPRA registration and professional membership in OT, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Speech Pathology or Social Work.
- Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience as a paediatric Allied Health clinician.
- Experience working with children with developmental delay, disability and complex neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary teams, case coordination and managing high clinical workloads.
- Strong clinical leadership, communication, supervision, problem-solving and family-centred care skills
