Join our Women’s and Babies Service as a Ward Clerk and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, efficient and supportive experience for patients, families and staff. As the first point of contact for the unit, you’ll provide exceptional customer service while coordinating administrative processes, managing patient information, supporting clinical teams and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy maternity environment. Working closely with midwifery, medical and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll be a key communication link who helps keep services running seamlessly and supports positive patient journeys. About you:
- General experience in clerical and/or receptionist duties
- Experience in using information systems and data entry
- Ability to apply judgement, initiative and problem solving
- Demonstrated high standard of written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate with a range of patients, the public, visitors and staff in an efficient and courteous manner
