  • Requirements

    • Programming and operating CMM equipment to inspect complex aerospace parts and assemblies.

    • Setting up, calibrating, and verifying CMM machines to ensure accurate and consistent measurement results.

    • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine inspection requirements.

    • Performing first-article inspections (FAIs), in-process checks, and final inspections in accordance with customer and industry requirements.

    • Recording and analyzing measurement data, preparing detailed inspection reports, and entering results into Net-Inspect.

    • Bench-checking parts as needed to validate dimensions and ensure conformance to specifications.

    • Identifying and reporting non-conformances, assisting in root cause analysis, and supporting corrective action activities.

    • Willingly assisting in other shop responsibilities, including deburring, assembly, and shop clean-up, to support team goals.

    • Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • 5 (five) or more years of experience programming and operating CMM equipment.

    • Proficiency in machine set-up for inspection operations.

    • Experience performing FAIs and working within Net-Inspect.

    • Ability to bench check parts to verify dimensions and tolerances.

    • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

    • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.

    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality.

    • Working experience with PC-DMIS software (preferred).

    • Working experience with advanced inspection tools and techniques beyond CMM, such as laser trackers or portable arm CMMs (preferred).

    • Relevant technical certificate or degree (preferred).

    *This company does not currently provide visa sponsorship.
