Requirements

- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance.
- Candidates should have a strong interest in supporting U.S. defense and national security programs.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience supporting advanced air vehicle programs.
- Experience integrating electrical and mechanical subsystems into aerospace platforms.
- Experience designing mechanical parts using CAD software.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including:
- Machining
- Sheet Metal Fabrication
- Composite Manufacturing
- 3D Printing
- Injection Molding
- Composite Lamination
- Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals and mechanical system design.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
- Experience developing aircraft subsystem layouts and performing architectural trade studies.
- Experience evaluating vendor performance data and supporting supplier integration.
- Competency in engineering analysis, including structural, thermal, and electrical analysis.
- Active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

- โ Integrate electrical and mechanical subsystems into complex aerospace platforms.
- โ Create and maintain detailed CAD models and engineering drawings.
- โ Evaluate manufacturing methods and ensure designs are optimized for production.
- โ Perform engineering analyses to support system performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- โ Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design, integration, testing, and production lifecycle.
- โ Participate in design reviews, technical trade studies, and engineering decision-making.
- โ Prepare technical documentation, engineering reports, and design specifications.
